Mr. K.A.Abraham a post graduate in Commerce with more than 15 years of experience in banking and an equal number of years in social service. The idea of this cancer institute is evolved out of the experience of his team’s work with cancer patients for several years.

Prof. Dr. Mathew Chandrankunnel CMI : Professor of philosophy of science at Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram and Christ University, Bangalore. PhD in Philosophy of Science from the University of Leuven, Belgium, done post doctoral research studies at Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics, Harvard University, author of famous books Philosophy of Physics, Philosophy of Quantum Mechanics, The Condemnation and Rehabilitation of Galileo Galilei, winner of CTNS Templeton, founder Chairman of the Bangalore Forum for Science and Religion. Guide and Advisor
Dr.K.K.Mathew M.D : Dr.K.K.Mathew M.D is the Consultant Physician residing at “Pratheeksha”, K.P.Road, Kayamkulam. He graduated in medicine in 1968 and completed his post graduation in 1973 from Delhi University. Discarding many prestigious positions, he opted to work for the poor communities in the rural area. He has completed 37 years of relentless work for the rural population. Dr.Mathew played a major role in uplifting the St.Thomas Mission Hospital as one of the best Mission hospitals in Kerala. He had organized the first I.C.U in the rural region in Kerala. With limited resources at his command, Dr.Mathew made substantial contributions to Medical Science. His original scientific observations have received attention, appreciation and approval at the international level. He proved that working in a rural area does not prevent doctors from getting international recognition for their scientific observations. Dr.K.K.Mathew is also a noted poet, novelist, short-story writer, spiritual writer, thinker and orator.

Cultural Director
Fr. V.P.Joseph Valiyaveettil : Founder director of “Krupasana”, an institution reviving ancient art forms like “chavittu nadakam”, “paricha muttu kali”, “margam kali” etc. that are at the verge of extinction through research, training and organizing performances in visual media; architect of a new Christian art form “Slama Karol”; winner of seven awards and fellowships ( Senior fellowship from Central Government, Sangeetha Nadaka Academy- Guru Pooja Award, Kerala Folklore Academy award, KCBC Jeevanadam and Prathibha awards, Coir Board National award, Cultural academy scholarship) for his contribution to preserve ancient art forms and interventions for wholesome development of people in the coastal areas; award from coir board for the invention of indigenous machine (motor rad) to reduce drudgery of women coir laborers; spiritual leader of parishes and conventions.

Social Work Director
Fr.Abraham Kallarackal MCBS: M.S.W (Medical & Psychiatric), P.G.D.H.R.M , Diploma in Counseling. Served as HIV, AIDS Counselor, in psychiatric hospital, currently rendering services for mentally retarded, psychiatric patients and social work in Mysore rural. He is a lecturer in Jeevalaya Institute of Philosophy and Prasada institute of Integral formation.

Social Work Coordinator
Ms. Sherly V Mathew, M.Phil (Psychiatric Social Work), Country Director, Ananda Foundation, India, a subsidiary of Waterstone Foundation, USA. Formerly, Country Director of Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation(PCF), Switzerland and Program Manager of American India Foundation (AIF), USA. She is a highly motivated social worker and project evaluator in the fields of child rights and women’s empowerment.

Spritual Director
Rev. Dr. Thomas Kallukulam CMI, PhD in Gandhian thoughts from MG University, Kottayam.
